Thank you for asking your Quick Question online. It is possible to receive both an associate degree and a bachelor's degree. The requirements for the associate degree may be found on these documents: http://osca.lbcc.edu/curriculumGuides.cfm Click on 'c' or scroll down to Culinary Arts and click on the title to download the document. For general education, go to http://osca.lbcc.edu/genedplan.cfm and click no the most current year listed to download the document. Be sure to read everything that pertains to Plan A throughout the document for general education requirements, degree requirements, and graduation proficiencies. For information regarding transfer, use the same document above (GE Plans) except read everything that pertains to either Plan B or Plan C throughout the document. Additionally, for information about major prep at specific CSU or UC institutions, go to this website: http://www.assist.org/ enter the university, then LBCC, then the major. A new page will appear that has information to read, scroll down to the two-column section - the university course requirements will be listed on the left and the articulated courses that may be taken at LBCC will be listed on the right. If a course requirement in the LBCC column is listed as "No articulation" then that course must be taken at the university. The transfer process is complicated; therefore, you will want to consult with a counselor throughout your time at LBCC. Hope this helps to get you started. |
