| I have a question about Political Science class. Do I have to take this class to fulfill the GE requirement, or I can take it after I transfer (for CSU graduation)? I wouldn't be able to finish this class by Spring, and I need to take during the summer 2010.However, summer courses can't be accepted for transferring. Hence, can I take political science after transferring? |

Thank you for asking your Quick Question online. Generally speaking, general education for Plan B or Plan C of the GE Course Pattern Plans document http://osca.lbcc.edu/genedplan.cfm has Political Science in two areas, it seems that you are referring to the area just below the Natural Sciences where it states that the Polsc 1 class meets the CSU Graduation and is not part of GE Certification. A student may elect to complete the requirement (American Ideals) at the university or complete it at LBCC. Therefore, if it fits your schedule best to complete the requirement at the CSU, then you do have that option.
